From Tarifa take the Route 340 to Cadiz/ Vejer de la Frontera. This scenic road follows the coast for several kilometers and then turns inland behind the Sierra de la Plata. Follow the road northwest past the giant black bull to the left, and turn after about 10 kilometers left for Barbate.
The narrow road winds through farmland bordered by stick fences and prickly pear, until the roundabout at the Zahara bridge. Take the left turning crossing the bridge, and follow the road into the town. Bear left along the coast following signs to Atlanterra. |
