Holiday House Casa Margarita
Costa del Sol - Casares - Andalucia - Spain 2 Bedrooms - 1 Bathrooms - Communal Pool
Casa Margarita is a typical Casaereño village house built as it is into the rock on which the white village of Casares is founded.
It is situated on Calle Arrabal which is a narrow virtually traffic free lane just a few minutes from both the central Plaza de España and the old Moorish castle which perches high up above the village.
To reach Calle Arrabal you have to pass through one of the old Moorish Arches set in the original village walls. Being built as it is into the rock the house is cool in the summer but cosy in the winter.
Downstairs is a living room with a small kitchenette off. This is equipped with a hob and grill, fridge and all the necessary pots, pans, etc.
Open stairs take you to the first bedroom off which is the bathroom. A second flight of stairs brings you to the second twin bedroom from where patio doors lead out onto the roof terrace.
Casares Village dates back to Roman times and in fact the name is said to be a corruption of Caesar. It is one of the prettiest of the "Pueblos Blancos" and sits amongst some wonderful countryside on the edge of The Sierra Crestellina National Park.
