This luxurious apartment, with air-conditioning and double-glazing, is one of only two penthouses on the fourth and fifth floors of the block and is accessed by elevator. The furnishing and fittings, completed in January 2003, have been designed to provide a feeling of stylish comfort. Residencial Amatista, in Reserva de Marbella, is set in beautiful landscaped gardens with swimming pools, a jacuzzi, and an ornamental stream and fountains.
Located near Las Chapas, which is 12kms east of Marbella town, Reserva de Marbella is adjacent to one of the many golf courses in this area and a kilometre from Cabopino Marina.
Although in a quiet location it is still handy for the coastal road to Malaga or Marbella. The beaches are only five minutes away by car or 15-20 minutes on foot. The apartment, which has been furnished to a high standard, has grey marble flooring and is decorated with oil paintings and large framed mirrors.
The master bedroom, which has views towards the Mediterranean and mountains, has two single (90cm) beds, a bathroom with full size bath, over bath shower, hand basin, WC and bidet. The guest bedroom has two single (90cm) beds. It is adjacent to the second bathroom, which has the same facilities as the first. Both bedrooms have large built-in wardrobes.
All rates are based on GB Pounds sterling and are fully inclusive. Discounts for longer periods and dates less than 30 days away. Payment in GB Pounds or Euros. One of the sofas in the sitting room converts into a double bed if extra sleeping accommodation is required. The penthouse is therefore the perfect retreat for four adults without small children.
The terrace is the ideal place for breakfast, as it enjoys shade until late morning. A spiral staircase leads from the terrace to a large private solarium and pergola, with wonderful views towards the Mediterranean and mountains and, on a clear day, Gibraltar and North Africa (see link for more photos). There are sun loungers on the solarium. The pergola, which has a large table and benches, is the perfect place for evening drinks or meals. From the terrace and master bedroom there are also views of the sea, which is about a kilometre away.
Guests have use of the double parking space in the basement garage, which has automatic gates opened with a key pass.
