Ancient stone tower house. It is in front of Roman bridge facing the natural park of Sierra Tejeda with nut trees, orange trees, cherry and chestnut trees outside the house. Yet, the house is within the Moorish village so you can go shopping, post your letters or have a nice country meal in one of the local bars where you can also taste a lovely (although strong) sweet wine made with a very old type of grape called Rome.
It features a dining room, a living room with colour television and balcony within the ancient stone tower, 1 double bedroom and 1 single bedroom with two individual beds. In the summer you can sit either in the balcony next to the river or outside the house where it is very private because it only leads trekkers to the natural park.
This house is fully equipped and it has an iron wood stove, an electric cooker and an oven, a microwave and a TV.
Parking area next to the house.For a larger group there is the possibility to rent two houses together, since this house is just next door to a 1 bedroom house Casa Puente Romano. From Malaga airport it is about 75 minutes to drive to Salares.
Local activities: trekking in the natural park, pot holing, horse and mule riding in the village next door called Competa.
